Tips for successfully appealing twitter suspensions
If your account got suspended, follow these steps below.
1. The ‘First’ Appeal
Go to this link: https://help.twitter.com/en/forms/account-access/appeals/ and fill out the initial appeal form. Explain that you believe your account was suspended by mistake and request a review. Don't worry too much about what you write here because the important part comes later.
2. The Second Appeal
After submitting your first appeal, pay close attention to the emails you receive from Twitter. You'll likely get an email asking for reasons why you think your suspension was a mistake. This email is crucial and your reply to it is key. In your reply:
Clearly state that your account wasn't hacked and you have full access to it.
Emphasize that you're a real person, not a robot.
Review Twitter's rules at https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-rules and explain how you haven't violated any of them. For example, if there's a rule about violent speech, mention that you've never posted anything promoting violence. This will show Twitter team that you know the rules.
If you suspect something specific triggered the suspension, mention it. For example, if you think you were banned because you were replying quickly to people, explain this in your reply.
3. The Third Appeal
Yes, they can reply to your previous e-mail saying your account is permanent suspended. That is the most probably reply you will get actually. Don't panic. Reply to that email reiterating everything you said in your previous reply. Sometimes they may not have thoroughly reviewed your initial response, so make adjustments to your message if needed and emphasize that you believe the suspension was a mistake.
4. Subsequent Appeals
If needed, continue appealing multiple times (of course wait a reply before to appeal another time). Always reply to the emails you receive. Stick to the narrative from your third appeal: emphasize that you haven't violated any rules and reiterate that you're not a bot. I suggest you give one day between each appeal you do.
Final remarks
Appealing a Twitter suspension can be a frustrating experience, but it's not impossible to regain access to your account. By following the steps outlined in this article and remaining persistent in your efforts, you can increase your chances of successfully reinstating your account. Remember to stay patient and hopeful throughout the process, and don't hesitate to reach out to Twitter support for assistance if needed. As far as I have observed, your account can be reinstated in around 7 days, but sometimes it can take a couple of weeks.
