Simple tips that can make your journey better
✴️ Show your new arts
Is it taking a way too much time to sell some your arts? Create and show a new one. Fresh arts usually drives more attention and visibility, and can help selling your older arts too!
✴️ Talk more about you and your art
Post more about you, about the process in making your art, the behind the scenes and story of each piece. This helps you sell your art without pushing too much. Moreover, it also helps you create a stronger connection with your art collectors and community.
✴️ Give a chance to the ‘lists’ on X
Create a list for artists you appreciate and engage with them.
Create lists for collectors and engage with them.
Create lists of educators and other community leaders / positive people, and engage with them too, of course!
✴️ Don’t be afraid of experimenting something new
Since December, 2023 several artists are making more sales on Solana chain. There’s absolutely nothing wrong to take advantage of the current hype on Solana to make a presence on the chain and get the boost of confidence you need to continue moving forward. That is a good time to make new connections and see your hard work being rewarded. Embrace the opportunities!
And yes, I’m also on Solana, but I’m there since 2022, while there was absolutely no hype! There’s a huge difference from the current scenario. You can find my profile at https://exchange.art/artvisionnft
✴️ Blind yourself from FOMO
Caution against the fear of missing out (FOMO). While the temptation may be strong, it's crucial to safeguard what you've earned. Fear the FOMO to protect your progress and mental well-being. That’s not fun to start all over again… plus it will be a huge punch to you, psychologically speaking.
✴️ Avoid being shadowbanned on X
Shadowban sucks and it literally destroys your chances to get your art seen and have your art collected. I’ll not write all over again about shadowban, but you can read this my article I wrote some time ago.
✴️ Connect with people from outside your close circle
Reserve some time everyday to reach at least a couple of people you haven’t engaged before (and of course these people should make some sense for you). There’re lots of artists, collectors, and enthusiasts around, and you may find truly supportive people that can change your journey … for better!
And remember: building your network is also an art. I wrote an article just about it some time ago. Feel free to read it:
✴️ Buy art!
If you have some budget, buy art from other artists! This not only will teach you the ‘art of collecting art’, but also it will reinforce your connections with the art community. That means you are not there only to make sales, but also to participate in the community and support others.
Final remarks
So, as you step into 2024, keep creating, sharing, and connecting. Your art journey is a fantastic adventure waiting for you to explore! Be consistent, be memorable, be yourself.

An opportunity for you artist ✨
The Vitruveo chain (@vitruveochain) will start onboarding artists soon. One of the ways to join there as an artist is by means of a waitlist, that is open right now! The process to register in the waitlist is simple and it worth to be among the first artists in the chain! The link to join the waitlist is below.
